Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team working in the Filey area Wenesday-Friday-Saturday-Sunday 6AM-9AM and also Monday-Friday 6.30PM-7.30pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and presentable for all staff and visitors.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of designated areas.

Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.

Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to maintain a streak-free shine.

Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.

Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Driving license.

Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.

Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.

A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a team environment.

1st locate hire the best for the biggest exterior clean in T&C's history

T&C Cleaning Services LTD are back out to break our own history records with a exterior clean in Scarborough.

The team spent the the last week heavily grinding it out at a local contract at Eastfeild industrial estate.

It was quite an eye-opener to the extent of how bad this exterior was and the first job was to simply de-litter the full area followed by a moss scrape gathering 40 bags worth in total with the correct recycling measures in place.

Afterwards for a job of this size and to the extent of weeds we had no choice but to pre treat the area with a biocide and a de-gresser due to the years of traffic flow which had taken its toll on the block work surface.

Afterwards the clean started following by more waste removal, for our task in hand we used 2 pressure washers, flat surface cleaners, turbo lances and boiler systems. After a few intense days we slowly started making our transformation to this job.

T&C Cleaning Services LTD are back in the front line action with the Army Cadet Force Scarborough.

The team spent the evening doing a litter pick across North Bay Scarborough and the open air theater, assisting Keep Scarborough Tidy and also the Army Cadet Detachment Scarborough.

It was quite an eye-opener the amount litter left behind on our beaches, wooded areas and pedestrian walk ways but with that, it's a great opportunity for the Army cadets and T&C Cleaning Services LTD to do something positive for our community it's also a good promotion of team work and our new relationship with our company with the Army Cadet Force.

I have to say it did get very competitive on whom could collect the most, and as much as some of our staff wanted to empty waste bins to fill their sacks, this was simply cheating!
